Dr. Brock will present her work on diabetic gastroenteropathy, a complication of long-standing diabetes in which nerve damage impairs normal digestive function. She will address challenging symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, and diarrhea, with a particular focus on gastroparesis. Drawing on her expertise, Dr. Brock will discuss management strategies—including blood glucose control, personalized dietary modifications, medications, and innovative treatments such as gastric electric pacing—that aim to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
