Biography
Dr. Yu Kuei (Alex) Lin is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes at the University of Michigan. As a physician-scientist, he focuses on clinical research aimed at characterizing risk factors associated with hypoglycemia and developing and testing scalable interventions to minimize clinically significant hypoglycemia in individuals living with diabetes. Dr. Lin possesses expertise in various areas, including diabetes management and technologies, cross-sectional or longitudinal observational studies, national survey research, qualitative interviewing and analysis, behavioral intervention development and pilot testing, as well as designing and conducting clinical trials to evaluate the effect of pharmaceutical, technology and behavioral approaches on reducing hypoglycemia.
