The MDRC Biostatistical Service led by Wen Ye, PhD, Research Scientist of Biostatistics, provides a variety of services to support basic biomedical investigators.
- formulation of research hypothesis and aims
- determination of appropriate study design and endpoints
- sample size and power calculation
- statistical analysis plan for grant proposal
- analysis of preliminary data for inclusion in grant application
- analysis of data and interpretation of results when the experimental design is complex
- training investigators to perform and interpret the results of their experiments when the design is straight forward
- data safety monitoring board
